Price & Payment
Do you sell by the bale or weight?
By weight. All loads are weighed at the farm and you are charged for exactly what you get. No guessing or getting overcharged by the bale.
Do you have a minimum sale?
Yes. We do not sell in quantities less than 1/2 ton (10-12 bales) per load.
Can I get a discount for large quantities?
Yes. Price is negotiable for one or more semi-trailer loads (approximately 25-30 ton). Please call or email if you would like to discuss price for large loads.
How do you determine price?
We set price based on our own supply as well as publicly available hay market reports. Prices may fluctuate throughout the year and you may not be charged the same price if you are purchasing additional hay later in the year.
Are the prices on your website current?
We attempt to keep all prices on this website up-to-date, however prices are subject to change and may fluctuate throughout the year--please confirm price when you arrange pick up.
What type of payment do you accept?
We accept payment in cash or credit card (note we charge a 3% convenience fee on all credit card transactions). We only accept checks from established customers.
Can I prepay or reserve hay to pick up at a later date?
No. Unfortunately, we cannot save hay or accept prepayment for any hay. You must pay separately at the time of pick up for each load.
